No different to the types of shots he always takes. You gotta actually watch the game. Like you’re bringing up those regular season stats, Murray didn’t play in either one of those games and the nuggets/heat rotations were different.
Look at how Denver got their shots from the perimeter this game. Look at the type of shots Porter was taking. Look at who was actually taking the shots. I’m not saying they can’t get hot, I’m saying the Heat’s PLAYOFF defense forces teams to take low percentage perimeter shots.
Nobody on the Heat can defend him in those spaces. His 3-ball is almost entirely dependent on himself; he's a 6-10 wing with perfect catch-and-shoot mechanics. He'll have games where he can't miss against any type of defender, and then games where he misses open 3s for no explicable reason. That's just who he is.
Denver was generating the same type of looks from behind the arc as they've done all postseason, they just weren't falling. It wasn't anything the Heat did particularly well, especially since they were coming off a grueling seven-game series thrust straight into the attitude of Denver. The Nuggets' shooting tonight was largely based on them not playing for nine days than anything Miami did.
All the attention Jokic attracts in the post will generate great looks for them going forward, as seen here -
No different to the looks they were getting in the regular season against Miami.
