There is no criteria for it other than bitter ass nikkas crying because their team is wack.

The Heat have always had a pretty solid fanbase.

The Lakers have consistently been a good or entertaining team. In order to be a "Bandwagon fan" that you means you only follow the team when it's winning. Even during the periods where the Lakers weren't winning championship they had huge followings. Hell the last time the Lakers missed the playoffs the attendance at Lakers games went UP.

And lets be real for a second, name a pro team from ANY sport that hasn't seen a surge in popularity when their team is doing well....Oh wait, I forgot about the Hawks, the one team in the league that can play well and fans still will be rooting for the other team.

Miamis fanbase is not consistent. I remember 10 yrs ago when I used to work at American airlines arena that shyt was a ghosttown

Truth-be-told, half of you nikkas not even from LA or Miami (and don't even have a connection to the city), ol "bandwagon-ass" nikkas. nikkas can talk a lot of shyt about NY, Chi-Town, OKC, BK, NO, or ATL fans but at least our fanbases consists of homegrown individuals that have personal connections to the team and city. I wish I could revoke some of you nikkas stan passes . shyt is so bad that every time I see a Laker or Heat fan I instantly

The nature of the game and the playoff system discourages parity. The only way you'll ever see real parity in the NBA is if the go to a one game elimination format.
