A lot probably know this but the shot above is based on art piece produced in 1967 known as "Pacific."

Another thing I'm sure most don't know is that when Michael (played by Tom Sizemore) kills that guard in the opening heist by hitting him twice in the sternum and once in the head when he drops, that is an actual execution method known as the Mozambican Drill/Technique.

Also peep how Michael runs backwards towards the getaway car so that his back is not turned away from the guards at 2:53

What a movie :wow:

Small thing I noticed, that may or may not be intentional, but De Niro pauses, and slightly corrects himself, he seems to say "how do you expect to keep a.....rel- (relationship) a marriage"? Because he realizes he is in a relationship with Edie by that point, and wants to keep it, assumedly.

Everything done is intentional IMO. But it's not all in the script, there is a lot of dialogue that was improvised too

Can't wait for this classic to be tainted with a shytty prequel/sequel because mass audiences (aka the money) can't pay attention for longer than 90 minutes unless there's an explosion every 10 minutes.

I can see the cast now:

Kit Harington as Lt Vincent Hanna

Alexander Skarsgard as Neil McCauley

Chris Hemsworth as Chris

Jonah Hill as Michael

THE ROCK as Trejo

And introducing Margot Robbie as Victoria. The female crew member who was strangely never mentioned in the first film but played an integral part in their past success:

Massively overrated film. Great shootout scene, but the first two thirds are straight :snooze: to me.

I told you I'm never going back...

:wow:

That score coupled with the ending made cats not even wanna get up during the credits. Just had to let it ride until the MPAA screen popped up, the lights came on, and the curtain close.

I’ll be looking forward to sitting down and watching this when my kid gets older in a few years. Show him what GOAT level cinema is all about.
