why? is it because you don't like deniro's ending? they did that on purpose(him settling down) so you could root for both sides. but deniro was a street dude and they don't forget shyt, especially when you have crossed them. So yeah he shouldn't have went looking wayne at the hotel but that's his character.

No, DeNiro was much smarter than street guys, he wasn't impulsive really at all. That shyt went completely against his character.

Peep the coffee shop scene between Pacino and Deniro

A guy told me one time: "Don't get yourself attached to anything you can't walk out on in 30 seconds...if you feel the heat around the corner." If you're on me and you got to move when I move, how do you expect to keep a marriage?


So, if you spot me coming around that corner...you'll just walk out on this woman ? Not say good-bye?

If he's not supposed to get attached to anything then how come he does when it comes to revenge? Makes ZERO sense, the other operative word is discipline, where the fukk is the discipline here?

Deniro's character is somewhat, albeit extrememly loosely, based on a real person. and IRL that person died by the hands of the cop. If the character had to die, there could have been a much better way to do it then the end. There were so many suspenseful moments and unpredictable events prior to that scene but it went completely downhill after the tunnel. There could have been a much better way to have him die than that bullshyt.

In fact Waingrow's character from the beginning was a complete plot hole. As calculated and intelligent as Deniro was, why the fukk would he pick up a complete random straight from jail to do that kind of job. What criminal mastermind would do some shyt like that. Especially considering everyone on the squad had a specialized role. Seriously what was even his purpose during the opening heist, they could have completed the heist without him, he literally added NOTHING to the team.

I love this movie but end is bullcrap. I honestly hate a lot of chase scenes in hollywood. Why didnt deniro keep running and live to fight another day? And pacino. Was so far behind him anyways

One of the greatest movies ever. Mann at his finest. DeNiro was dropping gems all throughout the movie. Pacino and DeNiro gotta do the IRISHMAN for Scorsese before they hang it up. They gotta team up one last time.
