it's not impossible because like I said before, the black people in NY who aren't of foreign backgrounds all have Southern roots. The thing is most of the times, the Aframs who have been up North for generations are mainly from the other Upper South and Carolinas, areas where peole don't have the thick Southern Drawls like people from the Gulf Coast. There is a sprinkling of Aframs in the North East with Texas/Alabama/Mississippi (nas and prodigy for example) roots though. In this case though, sounds like Desiigner is faking the funk
but Kool Herc himself, who is from the Bronx, actually has a Jamaican/West Indian + Southern accent when he talks
