They'll most likely use footage from those games, since Shuttlesworth was on his back.. Like he made the NBA etc.

It might be a decent story if Jesus gets into an incident and is vilified as a "Thug", loses sponsors etc and looks to his father for insight. I bet Spike has a lot to say about the modern sports media.

I heard it supposed be a School Daze sequel coming soon with Drake already being committed to play a character.

The movie will likely chronicle Jesus' decline as an NBA player. Mainly, it will likely capture Jesus' decline from being the hottest HS prospect to being a bit-part role player in the league. The movie will also probably highlight Jesus' financial issues, issues with teammates/coaches, issues with money-grubbing family members and also his relationship with Lala. Jake and Jesus will probably have steadily grown closer as father and son (of course, there's still resentment b/c Jake killed Mrs. Shuttlesworth) and Jake will serve as a spiritual inspiration.

Definitely.

Hell, the movie could be called, "He Had Game".

j/k but yeah sometimes classics are better left alone especially if you are just rehashing the plot. Spike is one of the rare directors I think could pull it off though since it's his work he actually adding to but then again I thought the same thing with Spielberg and that last Indiana Jones movie.
