He's alright....has buried the World title for no reason..brings up his Indy friends that he doesnt stick up for to try to sound relatable...talks about his long reign but not about the pathetic Survivor Series numbers. Double talk that the naive buy into. Eve Torres merc'd him and he looked CON-FUSED ala Young Buck...

Great promos doesn't mean parroting what the internet fans are saying... it means investing people enough in a storyline or showdown that they have to see what the outcome is, and spend money or at least take time to watch said outcome.

CM Punk doesn't get it because he's not really doing that. He did it one time, but it took him implying that it was his last match to do so. Ever since that his promos have only really pleased his internet fans, but haven't been drawing as far as viewership or viewers paying to watch him.

That's why Jake says Punk doesn't get it.
