Catching up on the last few eps, they have seemed to come off as a bit more on the filler side as we build to the finale, but there have been some good moments sprinkled in between.
I like how Spencer is making up for past transgressions, first with Angie and now especially with Dan. I felt it was heartwarming to see Dan getting his moment in the sun while at the same time enlightening Spence with a lesson of his own.
Some might not like Charles' storyline, but I like the aspect of what a somewhat midlife crisis looks like. And of course, being a supportive husband and family man, with now a new baby on the way, may speak to that certain demographic, especially with his hard working down ass wife. But I'm worried something bad is gonna happen to Charles, though, in future seasons.
I like the other showcases of different people from different sports realms (from Birdman to Giancarlo) and really sets up a branching out to different sports and clients in season 2.
I'm on two different ends with Ricky's conundrum. I understand he wants to finally mature and get back the girl he pushed away, but on another end, I'm thinking "She ain't accepting your apologies, and she just compared you to the one man you hate more than anything in life itself." Like A Pimp Named Slickback once said, maybe he should let the bytch go.
And THANK GOD, Vernon told Reggie to fukk off. That punk bytch ass nikka still needs to catch a rock bottom, though.
I wish I could watch the finale live tonight, but I'm making the (hopefully right) choice by watching SummerSlam first. Still though, hope we get a banging finale!
