It never surprises me when guys that look the part like Alvarez get the KO.

It’s bizarre that guys that look that strong and sturdy don’t seem to get very many KO’s, but when they do it seems natural, like they should be capable of it.

If someone like a Tim Bradley for example went out there and stretched someone in the first round, I would not even be surprised.

Well it was a 7th round KO so it was just past the halfway mark. Guess scores by the 7th round really don't matter unless it's a wipeout

It's interesting how rhythm and timing play such a big part in who has the advantage. Alvarez immediately had Kovalev timed as evident by the jab so even though Kovalev had a great round where he got to Alvarez a bit, it didn't matter ultimately.
