I didnt say he will go unbeaten at higher weights. I do think he has the skills to dominate junior welter and welter tho
why not? He has the same body type and height as pacquiao.
Body types ain't the same at all, Pac's got a much thicker lower base, just look at their calves for a comparison.

Gvozdyk - Gonzalez: Probably this was the most impressive showing from Gvozdyk that I saw so far. Still not totally sold on him though... I think Beterbiev, Stevenson or Kovalev touches him up and Ward UD him. Thoe are some of the best guys in the division so this doesn't mean he trash just that I don't think he is on that level.

Usyk - Hunter: 117-110 my ass... this was as close as it gets. Usyk won some of his rounds more dominantly but he really got exposed to me tonight. All that bs hype abut nobody can touch this guy from CWs and then he just scrapes through a green as fukk Hunter :pachaha: who fought 12 fights so far with Isaiah Thomas being the biggest name on his resume. Boxing media was like "Usyk might do well even in heavyweight" How Sway? :russ: Not to speak on the effect which caused by his fans cheering to any arm punch flurry he throws making out like he would badly hurt the opponent. :why: That shyt doesn't add up now and it certainly wouldn't work in HW.

Lomachenko - Sosa: Just like how a Loma fight usually goes, great fighter, Sosa wasn't brave enough though... I'm still waiting on who will be the first who really challenges Loma and breaks all hell on him from start. As for the p4p talk... I have Loma in my top 5 that's justifiable and logical, he has a good enough resume for it. P4P #1? No, cause I do it by resumes and Ward's W over Kovalev is the best win in the sport recently.
Usyk pretty much ran away with the fight after 6th and damn near killed Hunter in the 12th, that shyt wasn't close at all or "scraping by".

It wasn't easy and wide either, he didn't run away with anything, he won some rounds dominantly, like 3 or idk.. including the 12th and the rest were hard fought, close rounds with Usyk doing the more damaging work in mot of them.

I'm not on the train. Good fighter but his hype exceeded his true abilities I guess mostly because he was also the part of the same generation as Loma in the Olympics so these dudes (Gvozdyk too) receive plus hype and attention cause of they are affiliated with Loma.

I wouldn't be surprised if Briedis would beat him tbh and I also think whoever thinks that he would do well among hws is delusional. This guy is not an Evander Holyfield but not even a David Haye just a good fighter who got hyped up more than he should have because of out ring things.

I liked Usyk better a year ago or so until he stepped up his competition. He looked better style wise guess because the opponents were weaker.

Nah Loma hasn't got the same body type, Pac is thick af... Loma isn't that thick. He would be a dwarf in 147, not just height wise

So you two believe someone who came from a much lower weight class could compete at welterweight but loma cant? All i can say is we shall see.

when lomachenko throws all those pity pat punches, he is trying to force you to cover up. because when he can get you to stand there and just cover up from all his punches, then he can do all the step around moves, the glove pull downs, and pour all the pity pat combinations on you, to open you up for a big shot. its all about flooding you with a lot of little shots to get you where you shell up, and you cant do anything to him back. the thing is, if a guy is pity pat punching, and your shots have a little more on them than his shots, that means you can punch with him, if youre willing to take one to give one. now if youre willing to take one to give one, then he may not be so willing to let his hands go on you, because now he cant use his stuff to make you just stand there covering up. and if he cant force you to just stand there covering up, then he cant do a lot of the other stuff he wants to do either. now that changes the entire texture of the fight.

i think sosa was just standing in front of lomachenko, covering up, and just loading up looking for one big shot. i think these guys have to understand, thats what lomachenko wants you to do. george foreman said if you dance to the music you must pay the piper. and thats what all these guys have been doing with lomachenko so far. theyve been dancing to his music.

How do you think a match with him and mikey garcia would play out?

he doesnt fall into the trap of just standing there covering up. i think garcia moves and keeps the jab steady, he wins most of a round with a steady jab as lomachenko is forced to follow garcia, finding it difficult to put combinations together, but stealing little spots of rounds when he does. sharp garcia counterpunching will deaden a lot of lomachenko aggression on the way in, and if lomachenko becomes tentative, the garcia jab will take over, and the fight will become one sided.

Man y'all go overboard. Loma is great and the shyt, but if he keeps going up in weight he isn't unbeatable. Especially bc he like any young fighter has flaws to be corrected. Everyone boxing him the wrong way too.

Loma is good, but there's no competition at those lower weights
he already lost to salido which should've been an easy fight for him
look how good broner looked at super featherweight

Lomachenko versus Mikey is his real test

I'd like to see him fight Tank first, but Floyd and Arum will make it difficult to happen

I like Mikey Garcia, I can see his beating Keith Thurman at welterweight even, I think Terrance Crawford is his only threat around at that weight, I think Terrance Crawford can move up to 147 and challenge spence after he humiliates kell brook

Crawford and Garcia are the only talent at 135 and 140, they both need to just move to 147 and join the glamour division

That fight wasn't close tho

:dwillhuh:

And Russell is a mother fukking beast. That win should show how good loma is
It was close, don't let the SHO klan talking over GRJs work blind you. Check it out again.

Russell: 1,3,4,6,8,9
Loma: 2,5,7,10,11,12

....and they clearly missed a clean KD by Russell with :30 left in the 9th from a left hook. But you know how the game goes.
