Glad they dumped the "Dad CEO", they actually brought that CEO archetype on too fast and at the wrong time and it made the show stutter a little. That CEO would have come waaaayyyyy later down the line with a bloated private valuation and a need to provide a revenue run rate to take it on an IPO roadshow.
After a seed and one round, the more realistic archetype they shoulda parodied would be a unicorn herder. They should take shots at a Jack Dorsey-esque CEO or Chris Sacca/Dave McClure-esque Investor/Board Member.
This episode was way better with less Richard/Jared storyline playing out. Realistically, we all watch the show for Bachmann, Dinesh, Gilfoyle who essentially nail it in every scene they're in.
looks like you understand the business as well.
loved the newest episode, was upset it was only 20 minutes long. Hilarious how Gavin pretty much re-hired his former employees but without knowing it. Erlich had to have a go at that fancy japanese toilet. Glad that BigHead is coming back into the story in a big way.
