I can't believe that shyt is still on. I gave up on that show after Glen died.

TWD trying to beat the simpsons or some shyt when it comes to season?

:mjlol:

AMC just ain't got shyt in the pipe line. Not really.

If Vince Gilligan hadn't decided to make that Saul spin off they'd be even more fukked.

It's gonna be interesting to see what Vince's next non Breaking Bad world TV series will be. His Jonestown project at HBO looks dead.

AMC did it justice. Some things are right place at the right time.

HBO might not have given it time to burn, because the first season of Breaking Bad wasn't great. It had just enough juice AMC kept it going.

@hex , you think the pitch sounds wack? :dahell:

“A recently fired straight laced chemistry teacher finds out he has cancer. He decides To cook meth to make money.” I woulda been like, “go on. :jbhmm:
It doesn't even sound unlikely either. You spend time around high school chemistry teachers you know that at least 1 in 10 has cooked drugs at some point. :pachaha:

There are dozens of articles online like that, and they just the ones that get caught.

All those came after "Breaking Bad" though.

Fred.
You think chemistry teachers suddenly realized they could make and sell drugs because they watched a fantasy show on television? :what:

I know chemistry students who got busted for running a meth lab out of their dorm in the 1990s and I had a chemistry teacher who used to joke about cooking shyt and even had me make some precursers once (barbiturates, not meth) just to practice a process. I am CERTAIN there were more than a few teachers pulling that shyt long before Walter White thought of it.

Can't help it that old news stories been swamped out by the 99% of internet content that came after 2008. :manny:

I'm saying using examples that took place after "Breaking Bad" isn't selling the idea that the show pitch was a good idea. Which is what I was talking about.

I'm just saying that people have talked about it like a high school teacher selling drugs is unlikely, when in reality it happens all the time. Obviously the pitch has to go way beyond that to sell the show and obviously BB went deep into a fantasy world, but the basic premise is plenty grounded.

There's no endgame because they don't have anything to follow it up with. That's why they have spin-offs.
