American Express has a credit for $25 when you buy a year sub of HBO Max. Cool. I add the reward to my card, reup and buy an annual sub for $149.99 through the HBO Max app on my Google TV.

The statement says $149.99 from GOOGLE, so AMEX doesn't apply the instant credit because it doesn't say it's from HBO Max.

This some lame ass shyt frfr. $25 ain't shyt, but the finesse got me feeling annoyed. Just chatted with these muhfukkas online and I'm like can you just apply a damn credit on my shyt bro tf. I say all that to say, anyone looking to get the deal from AMEX, make sure you're not getting billed from a 3rd Party or else they gonna play games.

I renewed my subscription in the HBO Max app which is installed on my TV. My TV runs Google TV. I put my AMEX info for payment in the app lol.

smh, I legit never go to the website. I only use the apps on my phone and TV.
