He always tried to play that anti-Hollywood-I'm NY only- stance throughout the years. Yeah he was all into that Hollyweird lifestyle to the fullest. One of his earliest films, Manhattan, is all about him dating an underaged chick so he's been on that shyt. Damn shame cause I always was a fan of Annie Hall.
At least they're trying, at least one out of every four movies is good or watchable. Nobody else is really doing jack shyt movie wise

After the allegations companies played his movies a lot less
I seen one film where he is sort of dating a black prostitute and his mother dies and berates him from the sky....... a lot of pent up sexual frustration and perv shyt. Which is why the allegations shouldn’t be looked at as he said she said..... the victim as an adult is telling ya’ll the worlds most well known pervert, is a fukking pervert and he married her adopted sister once that got out.

I guess but I wouldn’t call it trying. They have a shytty formula they stick too. shytty script with a big name or two attached to it. Rinse and repeat. They don’t even go for quality. Half the time the storyline doesn’t even make sense. Amazon doesn’t drop a lot of original movies but the ones they do usually are good quality. Sound of metal is probably better then any Netflix movie released in 2020. Netflix does a pretty good job on their original series though. Max doesn’t have the most content but quality wise their second to none.
I agree and get everything you're saying but this pretty much describes the movie business as a whole even pre-Covid with every studio in the game releasing product and all theaters still open. It was just Super hero flicks, Fast n Furious type shyt, some Oscar bait, and mostly trash. Netflix definitely has more misses than hits movie wise but they still have hits. Their track record is basically the Hollywood average. Max themselves imo are only one out of three so far with the much hyped home/theater releases. Amazon, who I like as well, has a ton of bad movies as well that nobody watches

I can agree with that. So far even the HBO theatrical releases they’ve dropped so far have been extremely underwhelming. Wonder Woman and the little things was mids. You seen sound of metal on Amazon yet? One of their best flicks so far.
Been had it on my list for a couple of weeks now. I hear its fire. Will watch before the week is out
