This was a pretty unique situation, where the original director, who had helmed the movies leading up to it, had to bow out for personal reasons, and another director finished the movie. That's not happening with other films to even give fans the option of asking for an alternate cut.

I get that its unique and impossible for a studio to replicate, but comic book movie fans are a different breed. Trust me any movie in the future with a rocky production fans will start demanding something akin to this.

i never understood the hype for the snyder cut
yes we get to see some new scenes but its over they moved on from zach and we got a new batman so i dont get it

And they'll have to be happy with the bonus Bluray contentFrom what I've read, Warner is shelling out $20-30 million dollars for this. Anything is possible, but I don't see another instance of enough fans being invested for years to get the OG cut of a comic book movie

The Justice League that was released is the worst DCEU movie by far, which is saying something considering Suicide Squad exists. I'm in the minority that loved Man of Steel and BvS. We've seen how the director's cuts of both Watchmen and BvS were huge improvements, so hopefully the trend continues with this. @Still FloW

Yep, I fully expect to be disappointed bar the visuals, hence why I'm not as hyped as my friends

So I've been paying my bills this morn. Came across my AT&T cell bill on the app and it flashed me an offer to upgrade my plan and save money. They offer this plan called Unlimited Elite. It comes with HBO. I already pay for HBO through FIOS. However they said I'd get HBO Max free of charge with this plan. Just have to use my AT&T login to validate and get in.

I have HBO Now currently only for Insecure, ended up watching the Atlanta Child Murders series too.. Is this gonna have all the new HBO stuff when it drops? If so I should cancel that and just get Max.

Well HBO Now is becoming HBO Max. Or at least that's what I assumed they said when I signed up.

The hype for the Snyder Cut is that his fans didn't get their edgy for edgy sake DCEU that owns Marvel. But AT&T saw $$$. I'm sure they can pull how many times the #releasethesnydercut hashtag was tweeted. Take that number, multiply that by $15, then multiply by 6. If they give Snyder $30 million to finish things, they must think they can profit off that $30 million over those six episodes from all those fans who may sign up for the service.
