Essential HBO MAX Thread

do you know how many people DONT use their Max or streaming options? a lot. there is nothing wrong with what you are doing breh...in fact, there was an article a couple years back that said HBO actually WANTS us to share logins. they only care about the viewership and the subs. providing it as a courtesy to subs doesnt hurt them and anyone buying ala cart is str8 ducketts.

sn: app always crashed on PS4. I run it on AppleTV. havent even logged in on Fire yet.

The app runs on the PS4 because the PS4 can't run apps well at all. I use to use it as my go to media player but shyt use to freeze all the time watching Youtube streams then sometimes you can't open Netflix Fire Stick is way better

If you have Youtube TV, when you select the HBO Max add-on, you can access HBO content from within YTV as well as the HBO Max app.

I believe so, you should try through the web browser. See if you can log in to HBOMax.com using your Youtube TV sign in

You can. That's what I'm saying for anyone who didn't know lol. I have the HBO Max app on my girl's firesticks, my Samsung SmartTV and mobile devices but every now and then it be acting up so I access the HBO Max interface within YouTubeTV.

Is the app slow and buggy as hell though? It is on mine.

Nah. It's slower on the PS4 for some reason (a lot of apps are) but the Samsung TV works great and my tablet works great and phone works great too.

I think the interface runs the smoothest on my tablet

I still want them to upgrade the interface

I haven't tried any apps on my PS5 yet

I have Roku TV and I've been bytching and moaning for weeks about them not having a deal with HBO Max so that I could stream on my TV. Little did my dumbass I know, I could've just used Apple Airplay to stream it off my phone the whole time Watched Charm City Kings and the first ep of Raised by Wolves last night. Looking forward to WW 1984

Surprisingly solid movie to stream at home, although the cgi was iffy.

Was fun tho

The flight attendant is dragging. I was kinda interested the first couple of episodes. I'm on episode 6 now. I just want it to end.
