I'm saying, the prequel script and directing even turned SAM JACKSON into a emotionless android. I never faulted Hayden for his Anakin portrayal, because Lucas is the one that wrote him as a whiny simp with corny fake-Macbeth pickup lines. I've only seen him in 3 other movies....Jumper, the one with Edris, T.I. & Chris Brown, and a joint with Bruce Willis as a crooked cop. His acting was fine in all those to me

I thought his acting was incredible in ROTS. He’s power grew in all of the movies and his personality changed as he got older until he was mad powerful, confident and stoic in Sith

Honestly, that could have been the directing too. The scene seems flat in general and seemed like it was more focused on just narrating the issue between padme and anakin rather than dramatize the scene...

I always felt like Lucas was a great storyteller and innovative in terms of cinema and filmography but as a writer, there’s a reason why he had other people write the scripts for the OG trilogy
