:laff: god damn you muhfukkas are so disingenuous

the audacity of you nikkas to sound like victims every god damn time you speak on this issue

your own quote says, "or people in positions of trust such as school teachers and daycare workers."

I won't even respond to the rest of your post because you cats are really straight up liars out here.

I know, right. The audacity to not want to be put on a criminal watchlist for being a legal & law abiding gun owner.
:dead:

Here's a more sensible solution that doesn't require turning law abiding citizens into suspects for no reason:

In 'Voisine v. US,' SCOTUS Just Ruled People Convicted of Domestic Violence Can't Buy Guns

Wow, problem solved without criminalizing law abiding citizens.

:mindblown: how can you criminalize law abiding citizens if the purpose of the list is to alert your state if you are convicted of a crime - therefore removing the title of law abiding citizens

and you nikkas are still disingenuous as fukk as if the list isn't also made for teachers and day care workers, AS YOUR QUOTE SAID

God this shyt is like talking to antivaxxers :heh:

I'm bookmarking this conversation for life. The next time I up an article about teachers unions and the hardship of being a teacher, the first thing out your mouth better be how unfair it is that teachers are put on a list that "criminalizes law abiding citizens."

The audacity of you nikkas to pretend to be social justice warriors because someone questions your ability to carry a gun.

Why do I have to go above and beyond to register myself to a watchlist? I'm in MA, which happens to be one of the most strict states when it comes to gun rights. I have to take a class to get certified. I have to pay $100 to apply for my permit. I have to meet with the chief of police in my town, who's sole judgement will either accept or deny my permit application. I have to be fingerprinted into the system. I have to wait 1-2 months to find out the status of my permit. Then, once the feds and local cops have done a thorough background check on me, I can go buy a gun. So I go to the store and buy my gun. The store requires me to fill out a bunch more paperwork for them to send to the feds. They run my gun permit # through the FBI and once it comes back clean, I walk out with a shiny new pistol.

Gun "registration" is already here. Its been here. The feds ALREADY have databases of gun owners. They ALREADY have databases of who owns what gun (barring 3rd party sale, gun shows). You're telling me that its ok to be added to ANOTHER list....for what purpose exactly?

You want to put me on a list thats used to monitor criminal activities and you see nothing wrong with it.....
There's absolutely nothing wrong with it. As it said, teachers and such are on the same list because they're in a position of trust. If you're a gun owner, you are also in a position of trust, with society at large trusting that you wont wake up one day and go on a rampage with your handheld murder machine.
