Drinks,drugs, and cab rides aren't that expensive in the grand scheme of things. Look at how much you used to spend on p*ssy in the past. Its a good investment.

Yes it's important... if you're dead socially you better not show it. Women place men who have larger social circles as high value.

There's a lot of variables to answering this question.
If you're 25 or younger, and your game ain't tight and your money aint right. A fly squad can help you or hurt you. Some guys like lames in their circle to help themselves look flyer. Some guys like to help lames and show them how to be fly.
Now flying solo is easier when you're around 30, like me. Especially when your shyt is legit. Most women 27+ are getting pushed out of the clubs and social scenes by the fly just graduated chicks. And they are losing friends fast to marriage and trust issues with women stealing their men. Here in DC a lot of these 27+ will not let you meet their friends for a while.

Its a catch-22 for me. I'm a boring-ass dude when you first meet me but when I'm with one or 2 of my buls its like good cop bad cop...my boys talk big shyt more than I do and they are more engaging when a group of females is around so I just play off of whatever vibes they giving off and its usually pretty successful.
On my dolo, I'm successful with women when I get to talk with woman in one on one convo for more than 2-3 minutes...not out on the street or club, but on an airplane flight, in a bar, store...somewhere where I can strike up legit conversation.
Its funny me and my homie did this shyt last night, came from the gym and hit up a bar afterwards (ass-backwards I know), needing a hair cut was kind of smelly from the gym; but we were able to rap with the bartenders and waitresses, and before you know it the bartenders, waitresses, and the bartenders friends; a good 5-7 females was tryna get at us. Had half the bar hating on us and we looked like shyt.

This is a pretty insightful answer. Lately I've been thinking that I'd probably do better at this dating thing once I'm 30 and women are more rational. Until then, I should probably just focus on my career and invest the time I would have spent dating towards becoming more knowledgeable in my field and building assets

Just saying you're 30 gives you a pass with a lot of women. Guess they figure you're ready to settle down. But yea, get your money up, but keep you some side pieces to smash. The world's a skressful place and you need those jumpoff to keep you sane and calm.
