Up until a decade ago I would have agreed with you...

The truth is though we have too many teams in NY and there really is no need for franchises like the Mets and Jets...They are terrible joke franchises who are only relevant because they have that "NY"...All they ever achieve with any sort of consistency is embarrassment...

Both franchises DESERVE to be relegated...

It's definitely fun. I root for a Subway series every year in MLB and for the Giants and Jets to make the SB, not just for how amazing the city would be during that but also to make insecure non-NYers mad as hell. fukk the Nets tho since they're in our conference. But there's really no reason for any animosity between the two teams in the NFL and MLB tho unless we're playing each other.
