But yo dawg. What’s the difference between a 4.0 and a 4.6?:dwillhuh:
Engine size (liters of the engine) which at 4.6 equates to more Horse Power than at 4.0.

At least this is what I understood, can someone with more insight correct or confirm?

I heard it was about 30-40 grand cocksucker. :jbhmm:Also the 4.0 may or may not even have leathers:huhldup:

Not to say they arent constructed poorly, but if you cant to maintain the vehicle, faults included and or get top shelve coverage to where all that is handled, then you simply cant afford the car, period. Thats the part of the game wit any car, let alone luxury which routine maintenance on a vehicle running perfectly will run a bill up on yo ass

If you of the means to roll that and REALLY afford it, this aint no real problem.......nuisance doe ? Hell yea!

facts...except you really need to ditch them by the time they hit 150k or slightly less. if you get one new or a year or two old, they usually dont have many issues but maintenance is expensive unless you have a good specialist that doesnt work for Land Rover. as I said, you have to anticipate $2k-3k on just routine maintenance. when I sold my last one, I mean I had ZERO taste for another one. just like food you used to love as a kid but have no interest in now.

to my rich brehs, i've heard Lexus SUVs are reliable and way better product than the euro ones

is this true?:ohhh:
my mom has one. the RX 360 (I think that's the model type). very reliable. you can check reviews.. highly rated too. the interior is kind of plain though, not comparable to say a benz or bmw in terms of graphics and display, but it makes up for it in drivability and quality. Toyota brands (and luxury models) are historically reliable. Lexus >>> MB G wagon.

they are, real talk though....Acura MDX is better. I was going to get one but needed something bigger than a crossover at the time. MDX nearly indestructible except for a couple of models in the mid-2000 that had some issues with tranny I think.

The First Generation (2001-2006) have that trash transmission.
Actually many Honda/Acura cars from that period have the same transmission problem.

All MDX's after the first gen are A1.

So you like cars that you admit are terrible for you, but the aesthetics and way they make you feel is what overshadows your own rational explanation of why you shouldn't get entangled.

:sas1:
:russ:LMAO ... YES! lol.... I loovvve the style of Range Rovers... I can't explain it. :hubie:I was practical tho.. that's why I didn't buy one initially. I bought German instead... but if I just had $$$ to burn, I would def get a Range Rover. it's still a dope look... I don't care how bad it would be for me.

hey, a lot of people dont think about reliability, just how dope the shyt is. Rover is garbage reliability, been there, done that twice and now I got my fill. but them shyt was dope and pulled ridiculous amount of women. never pulled up to a light and asked for a number that I didnt get.
THIS (except for the women part.. no homo).. they are soooo sooooo NICE (not the newer ones, I don't like the evoque or whatever it is that looks like a truck flattened it on top). I know it's superficial af but any dude driving a Range Rover would increase his marketability and attractiveness to me.. lol. something about that Range is just :picard:....."heyyyyyyy... "

Range Rovers are infamously known for being not reliable. at all. More of a show, luxury car than a method of transportation. Not unless you have a stash saved up just for repairs for Ranges alone. Very overrated in terms of quality/ reliability. Design on the newer models are trash. (wouldn't mind having an older model one as a 2nd car tho..always had a thing for them).
I dont even like the design....and who would use this expensive shyt for all that off road bullshyt.

As everyone mentioned, Land Rovers are notoriously shyt, especially when Ford and BMW took over. My parents bought me a new Discovery in highschool and by college I was dropping about $2k per year. I still love the older Discoveries and Rovers, the late 90's models. Very classic. The Defenders are GOAT but you rarely see those stateside.

I currently drive a 2017 Volvo XC90. Volvo is very reliable but asthetically their cars used to look like shyt, however, they've stepped it up the past few years.

Edit:

How tall feel about the Volvo xc90? :patrice:

Own a 2017. Volvo has had the reputation of building very sturdy and reliable vehicles. With the XC90 and their newer sedans they're trying to move into the luxury market.
