me it had to have been when i was in my late teens. selling CDs and shyt some guy i sold to, had a bunch of fine cuban cigars and gave me and my cousin one.

we went out that night and just walked about smoking that shyt like some imaginary bosses. :russ:

you are not even meant to smoke it like a cigarette but i still dont know the etiquette of the cigar smokers. i know you are meant to use a match only to light it and that mel gibson the boss takes that shyt very seriously.

some are worth thousands to smoke.

Cigars are the only thing I ever smoked, and only on special occasions. I love them. Last time I smoked was over a year ago. You don’t inhale with your lungs when smoking them, you just use your mouth. Let the smoke and flavor stay in your mouth for a bit then exhale. Again, this is all with your mouth not with your lungs. Then when it’s done you can still taste the flavor on your lips. Pause to everything that may have been taken as homo. I’ve seen some articles say they are not as bad as cigarettes and I’ve seen some they they are even worse than cigarettes for your health. No idea who to believe

ok so its like i thought like fine cognac not to be guzzled.

do you get a relaxing buzz other than the act and sweet scent of cigars. i ask because ciggerettes or other smokes make you fatigued and etc.

with cigars is it more than ambience, i like the look and the scent but i smoke cigarettes.

whats the best cigar out there for boss's ? thanks.

I was a big cigar smoker before my kids were born. Just got back into it in the last year or so on a smaller level.

Yeah cigars are very relaxing they give me a nice smooth calm feeling, especially with a glass of whiskey. I don’t know enough to tell you brands and what’s the best, sorry. But when I was down in Miami we went to a cigar lounge, bought one for $40 it was sweet like honey with a little cinnamon spicy after taste. Unfortunately I forgot the name but that one was :wow:

I’m a huge cigar smoker. Usually one a week on a calm Saturday night listening to some hiphop while the wife and kid sleep.

I usually smoke cubans. My wife is from Detroit so when we visit her family I make a trip to Canada and spend about 500 on cohibas, montes, trinidad, romeos.

Not tryna sound cool but Cubans is the only cigar i have ever smoked. Started about 10yrs ago when I was deployed and now I got the Canada connect to keep smoking them.

Just like any hobby, its an expensive hobby, the most expensive cigar I’ve smoked has been about 100, most mine average between 30-50 dollars. Cohibas are easily my favorite.

some are worth thousands to smoke.
  • Light it slowly with a match or a lighter (yes you can use lighters, the light it with a match rule was invented because back in the days lighters were filled with gasoline, ruining the taste) holding the cigar just above the flame in a slow circular motion. You want to do that so the cigar doesn't get too hot (again, ruining the taste) and burns evenly
  • Get the end of the cigar wet with saliva, this is meant to cool the smoke, making it less harsh and allowing you to taste different flavours
  • Puff every few minutes. Don't inhale the smoke, just savour the flavours before exhaling. A good medium sized cigar will last between 30 and 45 minutes, you're supposed to notice how it flavour profile changes depending on how far it has burned down. Puffing to often will get your cigar too hot and ruin the taste.
Enjoy.
