but why is Christ's word the end all and be all?
Christ's word is the end all be all because he is GOD in the flesh. He is part of the Holy Trinity. Jesus Christ is GOD The Son. You are a baptized Christian, this is not a question you should be asking. To get baptized you have to affirm this belief.
Why should we as black people follow a religion that was forced upon us by slave masters?
That is something you're going to have to figure out your comfort level on. I had the same confliction. Anything man controls or touches becomes corrupt. Religion and holy books has been used to enslave, kill, and control the masses throughout time. But, that is a human phenomenon. Even without the use of religion, man still has used other things to enslave, kill, and control the masses. Man is the common denominator here. You can see it differently.
Christians cant even agree if Christ was white or black...
Christ was NOT white. That is a European (whitewashing) lie that got started by Cesare Borgia in the 15th Century. They started the concept of White Jesus, and destroyed a lot of ORIGINAL biblical paintings that illustrate people with African features. From Jesus's mother, Mary, to Samson, to Moses.
White people like removing black people from rightful theirs, I'm not interested in letting them have my faith. I do me and seek the truth.
What makes Christianity more powerful that Islam?
Jesus.
Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me."
-John 14:6
Christians forced their religion onto people, and Muslims had people convert to their religion by their good will during trading.
Both Christianity and Islam were spread through violence, conquering, and trade. Are you going to pretend that Islam did not have its own slave trade?
For the record, I'm not blaming Islam for it, the people that used it to justify slavery were the ones responsible.
In the end, they both worship God, but Muslims dont put Muhammad on a pedestal like Christians to Jesus.
Where are you in your bible study? Do you understand Christian theology? what is your grasp of the Trinity?
Jesus is a central part of the Trinity. He is of critical importance to Christians. Being 1/3 of the GOD Head.
Also, Muslims do place Muhammed on a pedestal though
