At a couple college games...and as one of the other posters said, it's jarring how little space these cats are operating within. And the amount of banging in the paint is crazy too. Looks totally different on tv than it does that up close.

Yes, skipped school with my best friend to catch one of Jordan's last games in DC. Was looking for a scalper when some guy just gave us tickets.

We get in and sit down for a couple of minutes and then his parents called and he got scared and we had to leave. Still blown about that. :mjcry:

Not courtside but like 4 rows up. This was the year GS won the chip.

NBA ball is insane in person. Monta Ellis's spin move is basically a teleport.

Rondo can scratch his ankles standing straight up (his arms are loooooong).

Steph doesn't look like an NBA athlete AT ALL (physically). He just looks like a lanky goofy liteskin dude.

Klay's jump shot is hella flat. His form is godlike.

Draymond has CHICKEN LEGS. Like they might be skinnier than mine.

Mo Speights is fukking scary looking. I can't believe somebody stole his Bently.

Andre Iguodala is hands down the most graceful human being I've ever seen. He runs on the balls of his feet (almost like prancing) and just floats around the court.

If you havent been you should go. It's lit.

I got to do courtside photography sometimes at Wizards games in the Jordan era, as well as the Steve Blake/Juan Dixon Terps
It's a dope experience. The speed and physicality of the NBA game up close is definitely different than what you see otherwise. Them nikkas are ON POINT with movement and conditioning. You constantly hear slapping and grunting..nikkas are basically getting fouled every play. At least that's how it was back then....You hearing every convo between players and refs. Being up close to hear MJ sonning dudes verbally and seeing the consistent disappointment on his face with Kwame Brown :mjlol:
Kwame was usually the most physically intimidating looking nikka on the court, his calves were the size of Lou Ferrigno. He was just so soft and sorry though:picard:

There was always that part of me that wanted to run out there and just start shooting or two stepping with a cheerleader lol

With college ball it's not as crisp as NBA, but it's definitely several notches faster and better than the best pickup games you'll ever be a part of

Yeah, did it twice, one time long ago with my pops, Magic vs Pistons (Shaq and Penny vs GHill) and the second time was a playoff game with my boy again Magic vs Pistons, lol I just realized this, anyway this time DHoward. Both times were amazing experiences, set us up with dinner and snacks in the VIP room and dinner was buffet style five star type of eating, the first time I was able to go through the tunnel saw a few people back there, Stephanie Mills and Anita. Pops got hooked up with the tickets but my boy and I paid for them, few hundred dollars, pretty good deal actually.

Did this at Staples center twice. First at a OKC/Lakers game three years ago and for a PHX/LAC game later that year.

Even though Kobe, Nash and Howard were out at the time, OKC still had :russ:, KD and Harden . Plus the Laker game experience was still :whoo:

The celebs , The Laker Girls :takedat:

I talked shyt to the Clippers when I went to that game the whole time. Especially at Chris Paul :lolbron: Fans around me were like :merchant:

Sat courtside right behind the basket when I went to a Rockets/CAVS game when I was in Houston last year . That was dope. Ushers were dapping me up on how close I my seat was :smugdraper:

Had Celts season tickets a few years back and they would do in-game ticket upgrades. I got upgraded to the first row after the announcers table for like $20. Unreal experience. These guys are tall af when you're on the same floor as them.

Most def'nitely.

We got partial season tickets, so we always sit one row behind the bench.

The game where the Hawks set the record for undefeated month and beat the Sixers (two years ago, when their whole starting lineup made the All-Star Team), we were right there and I spent the whole fourth quarter chopping it up with Jeff Teague. :salute: You could actually see us pretty well on Sportscenter and NBA Gametime that night. :heh:

I recommend you do it at least once, but make sure it's a GOOD game. Ain't nobody tryinta sit courtside for Kings/Nuggets :camby:

Sat court side at a few games (college & pro). Still to this day, I say Tony Parker is the fastest cat I've ever seen on a basketball court. That includes Duke era Jason Williams. They were basically slot receivers/scatbacks playing PG. Memphis Tyreke Evans probably the smoothest nikka I ever seen with my own eyes. nikka crossover is slow as shyt but cats just couldn't steal the ball from him. Probably the most crazy shyt was seeing OU Blake Griffin when he slammed on lil buddy from Michigan in the NCAA tournament. Was like dude was still going up when old boy was going down. Had court side for all them joints
