The big challenge is finding a quality trainer

The range in quality goes from pretty good down to basura

Another option is online coaching. Though that will take a little more work on your part to record form videos and cook your own food. But you would definitely get a lot more for your money.

We can point u to some resources though. It's not that complicated. I think a good workout regimen for women is Starting Strength. It has a lot of lower body work that works better for women's proportions and doesn't make your upper body get huge. You do that with some ab work and u will be straight. Google it

I think this guy has it right ^^...A good trainer is worth the money but the problem is finding the difference between good and bad. Unless you are experienced, you may not know the difference b/c anything is going to work at first but its not optimal for your money. At my gym right now, 2 are good, 1 is ok and the rest are garbageee...Like homies above me said a lot of it is just looking at movesets, watching videos for forms and tips, researching/evolving your routine and creating a routine. But a trainer can pinpoint corrections and tailor things to your body. For example, some ppl dont have the flexibility to do squats and you may hurt yourself but you may not know the signs that your one of those people. I've seen this happen personally. Or your frame needs adjustments to excercises they wouldnt show on a standard youtube video etc. Other factors include your own drive, money situation, fitness level etc. My rule thumb is, unless you are seriously unfit you'd probably be fine just learning on your own, but an elite trainer is worth his/her weight in gold for even the most advanced trainee. Its a tough question with no clear answer.

For nutrition all you need to do is research and accept macros as your nutrition bible. Seriously.
