I got two stories brehs..
first was a little while ago I bought this game called 'catherine'..
'you want this?' she said
the clerk at gamestop was this girl, a trainee, so her boss was still showing her how to use the register and all that. the whole process was slow and there was a line forming behind me. anyway she was giving me dirty looks as she rang it up, and if that wasn't enough as i began walking away her boss was like 'oh, buddy you forgot this' and handed me the art book with catherine on it in the seductive pose, then with a smug smirk he said 'enjoy man!'
felt like a dirtbag, it was awful. left with the and expression on my face
here's a pic of the art book that comes with the game
-----
another time when I rented ghost in the shell at blockbuster. I was like 13 and when the a$$hole cashier looked at the case to get the disc from that drawer so he hit me with the 'ghost in the shell huh?' in some sarcastic tone, lets out a lil' laugh and is like 'okay' while he retireves the disc. the female coworker kinda cracks up for a second too and i'm standing there like
wouldn't be phased renting an anime like ghost in the shell now, but back then I was still new to anime and it was somewhat embarassing. don't know why they had to be dikks about it though
