Soul food is unhealthy. I still eat it but I'm broke so..yeah. As soon as I get a job I'll try some vegan soul food. But my fav food is Italian though.
Anyways its unhealthy so many people are dying of heart disease and other food-related sicknesses. Everyone should cut down on soul food, fried foods, sodas,etc. But most people are not cooking they're just ordering takeout. Your too tired from your low paying job to cook anything. Work half the day and have food to cook but don't feel like cooking. Its just easier to get a burger or pizza. Soul food takes longer to cook than frying up some wings and fries.

But who ever said the parents don't cook is right. In my house I had either my mom or grandmom cooking. But some these 90s babies their parents are just feeding them fast food then sitting them in front of the tv or computer. Parents can't afford to take care of them. Without child support, WIC, food stamps most of these kids would barely get that.
