Well, it looks like Shanks has put in some work to lose weight, hopefully that translate to the field.

Florida State backup quarterback John Franklin III will transfer, according to a report by the Orlando Sentinel.

The decision was confirmed by Franklin's prep coach, South Plantation's Doug Gatewood.

Franklin never saw much playing time at FSU. He was a key member of the scout team and played the role of Nick Marshall before FSU's BCS title game against Auburn, and again as Marcus Mariota for the Oregon game.

It's not clear where Marshall will transfer.

FSU remains deep at quarterback with Everett Golson, Sean Maguire, JJ Cosentino, early enrollee De'Andre Johnson and Deondre Francois, who will arrive this summer.

Yes. The game I want to see is coming back. This time both teams are good. Can't wait. With UF and UM not being relevant anytime soon, It's imperative that FSU strengthens their schedule. It's prejudice with the CFB Playoff board though.
