And this is why I fukks with Coach Brewster
Jacksonville (Fla.) Episcopal offensive lineman Andrew Boselli decided to end his recruitment on Thursday night and commit to Florida State. The son of NFL great Tony Boselli, Andrew is a highly sought after offensive guard.
“FSU has been my number one ever since I visited there,” Boselli told Noles247. “I committed tonight because I felt it’s time. I have been moving slow and realized that’s kids are committing and spots are filling up. If I know FSU is where I want to be, then I want to make sure I get a spot.”
Boselli (6-4, 290) and his family had a long talk tonight. After the family meeting Andrew called FSU offensive line coach Rick Trickett.
“He was extremely excited. He talked to me about how he wants me to work. It was a great phone call.”
Noles247 spoke to Boselli shortly after his commitment and before he was able to inform all of his friends and family. Boselli said there is still one more call he’s looking forward to making.
“My good friend Isaac Nauta is already committed to FSU. I haven’t talked to him yet, he’s going to be fired up. I’m excited to make that call,” he said.
Boselli had close to a dozen total offers and chose Florida State over offers from Miami, Penn State, Duke and Maryland, to name a few. Boselli is a three-star prospect, the 36th ranked guard and the 101st best player in the state of Florida.

Florida State five-star cornerback commitment Levonta Taylor earned an invite to Nike's The Opening with his performance at the Washington D.C. Nike Opening Regional event.
It marks the second consecutive year that Taylor has been invited to the national event held in Beaverton, Oregon at Nike World Headquarters in early July.
Taylor won the Overall MVP and Sparq Award at today's event. His Sparq rating is tops in the nation for 2015.
He joins fellow Florida State commitments, five-star quarterback Malik Henry, four-star tight end Isaac Nauta, four-star center Baveon Johnson, and four-star safetyJamel Cook in being invited to The Opening. Also Taylor measured in at 6'0 175 today
