How come JWJ aint got a shot in the league yet?
not too many jobs for RBs who run 4.7/4.8 40 yd dashes.....he should just make the move to FB

@Lucky_Lefty i remember coming out of HS a lot of the FSU Twitter cacs calling JJ the second coming and how he was better than Kaaya. shyt they said the same about Mac :scusthov:

If Jimbo doesn't figure out his qb situation it could waste all the talent y'all got for next year.
I kinda feel like if this how Jimbo was gonna play it then might as well had passed on EG and let Franklin, SMag, and JJ battle it out..Atleast with Franklin he would have kept it some with the read option..Now he bout to be at Auburn..I can see him having a Nick Marshall type impact in that offense
Honestly, after hearing him talk after losses, he just sounds like he's not into it mentally this year. Maybe his divorce is taking a toll on him or maybe it's something else behind the scenes. I think he may go somewhere else just to get a fresh start but only if it's a beneficial situation and gives him a new challenge. Maybe Tampa if Lovie gets the axe :leon:
To me it didn't matter who started after the GT loss. I thought EG would be able to bring something to the table by using his legs, well, that's not the case. Might as well play Maguire, at least he'll be here next year to provide competition and experienced depth at QB.
But why play Maguire? He's had 3 games and has shown nothing that separates him or makes you say, "this dude is a major D-I starting QB talent". Sample size being small, I see nothing that he brings that takes the team to another level. That's why I was like, might as well let JJ get some burn and see what he can do. Surprised they went back to EG tho. And just like his situation, I'm not buying Sean being injured either. JF not trying to hurt feelings out here. And I don't see Sean being a factor in the QB competition next year with what we got coming in, Haitian Jack going into his RS Fr year. It's gonna be the Clint Trickett situation all over again

I thought about the samething. Should have just kept Franklin here.

I think he's focused on next season.

I'd be cool with seeing what JJ can do. I'm already in next season mode, so that's why I say play Sean just for the simple fact he'll will be competing against Frenchy and Malik. It don't matter that Sean will or will not beat them out, it just breeds more competition and they will have to work harder to beat Sean out because he got 4yrs of the playbook, checks, etc on them. That's just priceless when it come to QB competition.

I appreciate what EG has done, it's just hard to learn the in's n outs of any system in a couple of months. True, EG maybe more athletically gifted than Sean, but it's some things Sean does better than EG because he's been in this system longer.

The Florida State Seminoles football program signed Long Beach (CA) Poly four-star quarterback Malik Henry to a grant-in-aid agreement today, according to his father.

Henry has been committed to FSU for just under a year, literally. Henry signed his grant-in-aid 364 days after his commitment to FSU, just a day short of his one year anniversary as a pledge to the 'Noles.

Signing a grant-in-aid agreement is not a binding contract, but it does assure the prospect a scholarship and allows for unlimited contact between a recruit and the school.

Noles247 reported earlier this month that Henry would be an early enrollee. His father confirmed that again today, stating Henry is still on pace to arrive at FSU in January.

Henry is a four-star prospect, the No.4 ranked pro-style quarterback in the country and the 43rd best player overall, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

good shyt....I thought it was major issues with his transcripts due to all the transferring he's done in the past 2 years?

That's what people thought and was concerned about. Grades couldn't have been bad to be transferring with the ability to be eligible to play ball at IMG and Long Beach Poly. He still may have an issue with the NCAA Clearinghouse once he arrives on campus, but everything seems gravy.

Man on Fire @klutch2381 I actually thought about going with the Joker quote from the Burton Batman since we're playing in Swampland "This town needs an enema"

Damn our fate depends on Clemson. Breh I really hope them b*stards win. They hold our fate to the New Year's Six Bowls. If they lose we go to the Russell Athletic Bowl. :scust:

I hope they go to the Fiesta Bowl for selfish reasons. I'm already in the state. :lolbron: Says we would play bum ass Notre Dame if we go there. Or Houston in the Peach bowl. :flabbynsick:
