You didn't see how tentative he was running in his carries before Cuse or before he got the toss sweep in the Cuse game? Fisher been trying to get that scat back out of him and to punish nikkas for even attempting to tackle him.So Jimbo said that Patrick was soft early this season constantly.

MacGuire definitely knows the offense. I wonder if Jimbo goes to a two QB deal now. Golson isn't bad but we don't get the most out of our offense
Now y'all see why these youngins don't be seeing the field on day 1. That's why you can't be throwing these youngins out there when they are not ready. I don't think that was Campbells case, just trying too hard and losing focus. This was some good experience and he'll get better, just keep grinding.
I hate to agree with the cry babies like Bud and the Tomahawk Nation brigade, but if Dawsey is getting beat on the trail and not getting these guys ready to see the field, do we need to look elsewhere?
1st of all, Bud don't know what the fukk he's talking about, definitely don't know what Jimbo needs to do and not do.
Why do y'all think Jimbo doesn't have any coaching input, say so, etc in the development of the WR's? Jimbo coaches the WR's just as much as Dawsey, so he shoulders just as much blame if we're going to be throwing it around. The main reason none of the 4 freshmen WR's have been ready up until now is because of injuries. All 4 of them have missed crucial time because of injuries at some point during camp or the season.
Dawsey is not getting beat on the trail, the depth chart is beating Dawsey. Plus we wasn't taking more than 2 this cycle. Keith Gavin and Nate Craig, both are depth chart watching.
No. I think I just saw him carry the ball like once. I know he hasn't had a lot of touches though. Jimbo ran Dalvin into the ground. Thus why the injuries.
Can't count on Pender. He might stub his toe and be out 6 to 10 weeks. Not trying to be a dikk, but he is injury prone. I wouldn't keep playing if I were him. My health is more important.
I dig what you're saying but it has to be bigger than "depth chart watching", no? I hate the constant witch hunt they do with Dawsey, but we are only taking 2 WR this cycle. It's not like we are bringing in another haul like last year.
So you're saynig Cook shouldn't have seen the field since the Wake Forrest game or just limited his carries since Wake? I can kinda see that.

I think he should have rested after the wake game. Then split some of his carries. Seems like he gets the ball almost every play. shyt even some pass plays. Always good to have a change of pace. With Sean MacGuire in. Jimbo will go back to passing it 70 times a game.
Would give him a much needed break.We're only take 2 if it Gavin and Nate Craig. We brought in 7 WR's in the last 2 classes, that will make anybody look at the depth chart. Probably gonna end up signing Gavin anyway when it's all said n done.
Wasn't nobody complaining about Dawsey when Shad, KB, and Shaw damn near had a 1000 yrds each in the same season. With Rudolph, Lane, and Pigg coming in 2014 and Phillips, Murray, ((Tate, Campbell) Tampa area kids Gator country) in 2015. But now 1 kid decommits because he fear the depth chart, and another target is looking at a school with damn near immediate PT plus they accepted his brother commitment. But now its a problem.
The Receiving corps is babies. We haven't had a true frosh come and ball since......??? The injuries also. But damn I don't like these dropped passes. Rudolph is legit. Ermon Lane is

I think the staff and Cook has done a great job monitoring his hammy. If it was pulled hammy, he wouldn't be playing at all. I would have sat him for the Louisville game for sure tho and probably the GT game too. But they and Cook know way more than we do about the situation, so I trust they're doing the right thing.
