The decision to bring in Golson is the most myopic and short-sighted decision Jimbo has made as a coach at FSU. I didn't understand it then, and still don't. We are going to be in this exact same position at QB NEXT year (starting a QB with little to no game experience in our system and having them struggle) with a team that's going to be loaded across the fukking board. Why? For what? This year's team isn't talented nor experienced enough to even win the ACC. I think it's a 3-4 loss team with or without Golson. We could've built more towards the future this year, got a QB more seasoned that will actually be here next year, and still finished with about the same damn record.

year.We're fine. I actually think this team has the ability to run the table. Gholson's trepidation of throwing a pick is what's got our offense in shackles. I knew Jimbo would treat this game as a glorified scrimmage. Next week against Miami, our offense will look totally different. He got a chance to see Hoefield out there against the worst d-line we've seen so far, to get some film on him. I'd be shocked if he makes another start. Nate's injury got Derwin the reps he needed and the kid flashed all game. He's ready. If this was a huge game, Dalvin would've played, but it wasn't. Everyone got the necessary reps they needed before we hit the meat of our schedule. We saw Jimbo move the pocket and doube move his WR'S on the perimeter. The playbook is about to be opened next week. I think this has been a masterful job by Jimbo using the weak start of the schedule to get everyone he plan on using down the stretch on film and getting a QB who has been on campus all of 2 1/2 months all the looks he need.
