We really need another big body to guard Jefferson while Whiteside guard the lane. The Hornets penetrated the lane easily without encountering resistance from the Heat. The defense is slacking. I hope we turn things around defensively.

We literally never use Al like that anymore. That was more Cliff trying to gamble on that 3rd foul on Whiteside - the buckets weren't even the goal with that move. If Whiteside is out the game, we win. Plain and simple. Everyone can see that.

Miami not keeping our guards out the paint is an issue though. Miami scored like 25 points in 4 minutes and didn't put us away. I ain't saying we got the game locked up or anything, but that says a lot about both teams.

If Whiteside is out the game, it becomes a closer game for Charlotte, but that doesnt make it a guaranteed win. Although we've been having trouble guarding your guards, its not like y'all have been locking up Dragic and Wade either.
