No they don't. Non combat goes through Jackson or leonardwood. Combat arms goto OSUT. infantry goes to Benning, artillery goes through ft sill. Mp's go leonardwood Etc

@Traveler is right, but there are some weird exceptions. Some combat support mos’, like combat engineers (who think they’re combat arms, and get used like they are) can end up doing basic there, even though they’re supposed to do OSUT at Leonardwood.

A very small amount of Infantrymen can end up at Jackson for basic but they need to go to Moore (formerly named after that sorry bytch Benning) to complete AIT. I think it’s like an overflow thing, but they got shyt on a lot by other infantrymen when it happened. Honestly they’re the lucky ones because OSUT is usually all guys, and the ones that get to do basic elsewhere still get to see women. The scouts, infantry, and tankers that have to do the Moore OSUT don’t get to interact with women outside of chow hall workers who are told to be as cold as possible, and skreet walkers on victory drive, after graduation.

I dont think we’re recruiting like that anymore for that to be as common as it was, even when I was in it was pretty rare to meet combat arms/support (11b/c, Tankers, scouts, artillery, engineers) that didn’t do traditional OSUT.

I hope them lames in the 42 series notice I didn’t mention no police ass MP’s! Pull me over for doing 1 past the speed limit, on base, if you feel some kinda way about it.
