im not the brightest bulb in the tanning bed, but im not an idiot. anyway, what the fukk does that even mean? :russ:

Lol I probably didn't type that correctly. I'm saying off skill alone, Larry is #1 to me. Ali is the greatest not just because of his skill but his impact on not just boxing but the world itself. I think that has a lot to do with Ali being the greatest. Either way, those three are interchangible as far as ranking

Larry was the highest ranked and best boxer in this game, ranked higher than Ali :wow:

It's all for shyts and giggles, it's mostly a Coli thing no? I've never personally heard it used outside of this place . I'll tell you one thing, ain't nobody on this site gonna tell that man to his face that he's flabby & sick.
The flabby and sick part is a hip hop Internet thing, yes. But I was actually watching the Holmes/Ali 30 for 30 doc the other night, and it really shows how Larry wasn't appreciated throughout his entire career.

Not only was he in Ali's shadow & just came through at the wrong time, but was also frowned upon because he practically put the finishing move on Ali. Ali should've never been allowed to fight, but I imagine Don King was involved somehow, his handlers just wanted the money he paid them...and just the Vegas gambling money behind it was so big too. I'm sure alotta money was lost because they had people believing Ali would pull off the miracle again. Ali was in bad shape as it is, mentally and physically, and then the mobster's doctors came through giving him medication to slow him down even more right before the fight.

That 30 for 30 is excellent.

thats my favorite 30 for 30 ep. out of all the footage of Ali..the least shown is Ali of the early 80s and this provided a unique look of at the signs of his eventual decline during that time :mjcry:
