i think the point that was being made by mentioning the fact that "we all come out of africa" was that beneath the surface we're all the same (since we all have the same origin).....and the purpose of mentioning that is to put forth the point that you don't need to be black to support "black lives matter" and that inferring "black lives matter" should not cause white people to feel left out......in other words saying & supporting "black lives matter" actually infers that all lives matter....Judging from the fact that the professor started the class by mentioning it was going to be about race and that everyone "should pay attention", to the discussion about BLM(what was the relevance?), to mentioning "we all come from Africa!"(which is when everyone had enough) to the fact that when the white kids started leaving the black kids started shouting "BLM" after them, I can infer that the whole class was a harangue on how bad white people are and how they should repent etc.
Like I said, I'm not bothered by him mentioning all humans came out of Africa. But I'm not paying to be lectured by an ivory tower pseudo-intellectual about my inherited sins. I can go to church for free If i want that.
As a white man, even though I accept the "out of Africa" theory, I still would have walked out. If I'm spending thousands of dollars for a college education I expect to be educated, not guilt tripped and brow beaten by limousine liberals.
Then again I wouldn't be caught dead in a "cultural anthropology" class.
#FACTS!Welcome to a post logic fact free humanity
My homies little brother is in that class. I didn't believe it until I saw it on the news this morning. He said some girl was crying
They probably heard all their lives that they come from Adam and Eve
Enjoy your witticism, but weren't you hoping that this thread would be a "safe space"? Everyone agreeing and laughing with each other about those silly cacs, until I had the nerve to post a dissenting opinion?

I wouldn't be surprised. Tenure in itself offers a comfortable life, and university professors have various ways of whoring themselves out for money. Maybe he's a millionaire but my point still stands.
you think that professor making bank?
