We know the Ancient Nubians were black. Which means the Ancient Egyptians were also black. FYI before the 1800s when eugenics took off, Ancient Egypt being black was universally accepted.

Now anyone who reads the Bible knows that there are several occurrences were Hebrews like Moses and Joseph were able to pass as Egyptians. Joseph famously was sold by his brothers into slavery in Egypt. Then years later after he rose to become a soldier in the Egyptian army, his own siblings didn't recognize him and thought he was just another Egyptian soldier.

The Hebrews would not have been able to pass as Egyptians if they didn't look similar to them. Thus, because Nubia and Egypt were siblings, we know they were both black. And because the biblical Hebrews were able to pass as Egyptians that means they too must have been black.

You can't read the Bible in context without coming to this conclusion.

Never said they did. I am simply using them to show how people historically thought about the relationships between these groups in question.

The writers of the Bible must have had a good reason to group both Ancient Egypt and Ancient Nubia as siblings in their origin myth. My argument isn't that they were actually the descendants of Noah. But rather to show that ancient people viewed them as being more closely related to one another than say Ancient Egypt being related to a non-African people.

According to Ancient peoples, Egypt and Nubians were of common descent. We know Nubia was black. That means Egypt was also black. And since the biblical Hebrews were able to pass as Egyptians, then that means they too were black.

Some Hebrews were darker than others, some lighter, but NONE of them were Black.

Africans had their own ethnic groups long before Europeans came through. Calling them Black is insulting to them.​
