Didn't really think that Meyer deserve a suspension but its better than the alternative. Gene fukked up with not reporting the issue to compliance and Meyer should have gotten rid of Smith earlier for being a shytty ass coach anyway . Smith antics and relationship drama with his ex did embarrassed the university, so Meyer had to eat it since he held on to him for too long. We should beat Oregon State and Rutgers off of talent alone. TCU is a iffy now because of Patterson and the adjustments that he made do during the game and Ryan has no true head coaching experience. I wish that they would have made Greg acting head coach since he already have experience at Rutgers and Tampa Bay but it is what it is. OSU plays better with a target on their back and they are going to have to hear this shyt all season. It should make them stronger in the long run to another championship

Just read the internal report off of 11 warriors . Yeah, Smith ass definitely should be canned years ago. Meyer needs to eat those three games off of stupidity and nepotism alone.

Yeah, what's crazy is that the domestic violence issue (which most of the national media seems to think this is all about) was not the reason he was suspended. The report said the Title IX person alerted Gene and Urb about the allegations. So it wouldn't make sense that it was then Urban's job to tell the same compliance officer about the situation. But he's more so suspended for having such a long leash for someone only because of his loyalty to Earle Bruce. Zach could have been fired for not performing well enough in his job, for the strip club shyt, for missing recruiting visits and being late to practice, for his social media antics, etc. The report said that Urb acted in good faith but his actions weren't perfect. I take that to mean he acted in a way he thought was right, but it wasn't right. All in all, I think the suspension is fair enough given he didn't outright try to do the wrong thing, but he still did some wrong things if that makes sense.

The narrative nationally is hilarious now though. Saying OSU will do anything for a football coach who wins. Omitting the fact that OSU fired its previous two most iconic coaches (Tress and Woody) despite crazy success on the field.
