For work I was out in Oxnard, Hollywood, and Ontario at various points about a year and a half ago. I knew the Hispanic population was massive but was mad surprised the plant (Ontario) i was stationed in/helping out was about 90% Hispanic, everything from the cleaning service to management. I ran into a plant worker that was a Detroit Red Wings fan/stan (shytted on the Lions though). Everybody there seemed cool. Got a few's though.


LA reminded me of NY, a big melting pot of cultural backgrounds.


I was just curious though , there aren't many brolic asians around these parts (as far as I know), just blacks, some arab's, trailer park whites and Hispanics in the southwest part of the city.

i had a few cuzzins locked up during the crazy greenlight period, and from their stories it didnt seem half bad. prison guards knew about greenlight, so everyone thats categorized as asian was segregated and ran their own program. thats y when given the choice, samoans, tongans, and sometimes even blacks/whites (if they ran wid an asian street gang) will run with the asians in prison. its a lot more politic free.

if given the choice, would u rather b a samoan that runs wid crips and gotta deal wid constant drama wit bloods, southsiders, and even crip on crip beef constnatly worrying about getting into fights or shanked up, and having your privileges revoked, or run in essentially politic free housing with the asians. easy choice. thats why alotta usos run other in cali prisons.

then on the westside you had Shoreline Crips giving them the beats, they had Culver and Venice (2 bitter rivals) joining up cause Venice was catching the beats, and even with the combined effort still got that work. They ended up asking for a peace treaty.

The thing is my cousin said that ECC had been jackin F13 for drugs every know and then since the 80s, it just never escelated out of hand like it did years ago. That is why F13 were always cool with Swans because they hated crips, F13 just didn't go toe to to with ECC, they let Swans handle that because those Swans are Al-Qaeda like nikkas because they are surrounded by crips and survived for decades. Crips were an absolute nightmare for decades east of the 110 for everybody black or mexican. To be honest I don't think F13 likes being racist but La Eme been pushin that vibration on them just like other barrios. My cousin told me back in the day it was common to see F13 kickin it with black people, especially those from blood hoods.

man, looking back shyt make me sad. i can't tell you how many times you had the blacks vs jamacians fighting at school. i don't even remember how alot of shyt like that started but alot of them jamacians was on that rah rah shyt, at the same time some black here and there used to treat them like outkast and pick on them for the hell of it.

there was one time my lil cousin and his crew had beef with the jamacians. the jamacians were catching l's left and right being jumped/ambushed in the locker rooms, cafeteria and after school. my cousin and his homies thought that shyt was funny. they always outnumbered the jamacians, but all that shyt changed when a few jamacians caught one homie by himself after-school slippin. they jumped him and gave him a nasty buck fifty on the side of his face. son look like something out of a he night before christmas movie with the way he got bucked from the top of his head damn near to his neck. funny thing was son who got bucked was just a cool a dude who rocked jordans had all that flashy designer shyt and rolled with my cousin and his crew but never was in the field like that nor built like that. alot of people felt he aint deserve that and the jamacians could have targeted anyone else but him. but shyt happens when u associate yourself with certain people

shyt got real to the point where one of my cousin homies had the shottie in his car, just in case some shyt popped off before/after school. the jamacians started bringing machetes to school. shyt never popped off after that, my cousin and his homies were getting bagged on the street from other shyt so the shyt started to die down.

Went to Dorsey in LA.

There was a bit of tension between blacks and Mexicans... always came to a head at the end of the year.

If you did the look like you couldn't handle yourself, people fukked wit you.

Saw a little nerdy Mexican kid get chased by like, 4 black dudes... he slipped and they tried to stomp him out... one soccer kicked ol boy in the head

Was gonna get up and help the kid, but he tripped one of em and hit him with this nasty elow and slept him.

I was like while the other goons were like and backed off.

My younger brother told me the Mexicon kid had an older brother that was gonna be a pro boxer... so he probably taught him some self-defense.
(I say 'was' because the older brother was found a year later behind a dumpster with his throat cut.)

crazy. I grew up on la brea and jefferson. my fam lives in the Js. after that we moved to the valley my freshmen year, but then after I graduated, literally 2 months after, I moved with some paag I was with to koreatown off 3rd and vermont for about a year, then moved to hollywood for a year, then got sick of the traffic and went back to the 818. if I ever go back to socal I think burbank/studio city will be my home. Im too old for all that other commotion.

yea a lot of the mexican gangs arent are as active. i got family from blood gangs that still be doing their thing tho. LBC/Compton are always active.
