HBK?? Hell no. He was actually funny in an a$$hole way. Triple H wasn’t funny unless he was mimicking him in DX.

Bret Hart? His promos were boring as a face, but as a heel in attitude era he was good and convincing. That’s another no.

Taker? No cause when he was running the Ministry, his promo game was on point. He was doing a Jake the Snake demonic cult heel thing and it was dope.
Being funny doesn't make a good promo. When he was on he was on, But most of the time in the AE HBK's promo were him just rambling about some random nonsense that made no sense:

"Bret Hart works a 9-5 for his money while the Heartbreak kid works one night a week" :dead:

Bret was great when he had his shyt memorized or was really feeling it but sometimes he would get lost like a mofo and not know how to recover. Like the night after Badd Blood.

Taker is a really good promo too but the only time we've ever really seen him get "tested" on the mic was with that Jericho promo.

Stop it slime. Shawn is right up there with HHH.

HBK had a better crescendo, HHH was better with following the script. Both great.
Not saying that Shawn is a bad or promo or not near HHH, Im just saying that HHH is better on the mic than him. It took awhile though because Shawn was still eating him up on the mic even as commish. And i'm saying that from the aspect that most of HHH's promos made sense and had meaning behind them.

He was the primary reason so many people quit watching wrestling in the early 00's. His promos were long-winded and unentertaining. There was a time where they had Stone Cold, The Rock, Lesnar, Undertaker, Kurt Angle, HBK, NWO, Flair, Goldberg, etc.......but HHH maineventing every PPV. It's plainly obvious that his marriage to Steph propelled him to the top. He's a midcarder cosplaying as a main eventer.

His initial title run was a flop so they put him back with DX and stephanie
Also summerslam 99 survivor series 99 wrestlemania 16 king of the ring 2000 and summerslam 2000 hes in mUlti man matches for the world title.because he cant headline on his own. He needs extra star power in the matches.

And when his push was first started by him winning KOR the whole crowd reaction to his promo was :unimpressed: This is one year after Austin 3:16.

I don’t even remember what he said but I remember the crowd was silent. I just tried to find it on youtube but I couldn’t because nobody gives enough of a fukk to upload it apparently :mjlol:

He was just OK on the mic during the real prime of the attitude era, not as good as Mankind/Rock/Austin/Vince/Undertaker. As time went on he got good at giving serious promos that built up the stakes of a match though. He had promos building up his Wrestlemania matches with Undertaker that were very good.

LOL at all the reactions in here like HHH and Rock promos consisted of shoots where both guys go out there and try their best to insult the other. ah the matches are predetermined but the promos are real! This one's real!" I get it if you have more fun if you still believe though.

People started tuning out with Rock and Austin still in their primes and positioned above HHH. By summer 99 and the Higher Power all the gateway fans to wrestling had seen all the new and fresh ideas that the attitude era brought and started to tune out, and it was a gradual decline from there that still continues.

I’ll be honest with you, besides his racist shyt (which I remember for the wrong reasons) or his forced promos that end up being overblown and comedic, Bias aside, I couldn’t tell you a promo that stands out ever and a bunch of kliq wannabes wanna say hes the GOAT.
A non burial breaking kayfabe one ? No
