All in one decade...all considered not just huge successes but classics. The closest thing we got to that is Will Smith but he falls short somewhat..
People let me rephrase...
Have we seen a guy in Hollywood since Eddie that was not only a dual/triple threat but able to put out classic material along with bring in major sales in both/all his lanes?
Tom Hanks was amazing but was just an actor
Kevin Hart has no classic material whatsoever
Arnold would fall into that category if we could count his iconic bodybuilding career but that has nothing to do with Hollywood
Will is probably the closest but within his run he will be remembered for Bad Boys, Independence Day & Men In Black. That's his bread & butter. Then you have to include Gettin Jiggy With It, Men In Black and Miami (to a lesser degree) as songs everybody will never forget
I definitely wouldn’t say Will Smith falls short. Homie is the ONLY actor EVER to have eight straight films gross over 100 Million plus he’s got two Oscar noms to his name....
Eddie Murphy
Will Smith
Kevin Hart (whether you like it or not)
Have undeniable peaks.
they might up his role in Spider ManOnly thing he’s missing is success in Movies and if Han Solo and Lion King do the business everyone is anticipating he’ll be up there
what exactly was kevin's harts peak?
I’d say 2013-2016 was his peak. Selling out Madison Square Garden. Selling out football stadiums. 4 number 1 films. A successful TV show.
Hart puts in work.
Not saying he’s ok the talent level of Eddie or Will but his success is undeniable
Can't deny Hart work ethic and grind. He played his position til he got where he is now, the peak for a standup comic i'd say.
Talent can't touch Eddie or Will Smith. Has Kevin Hart ever been in a movie where he is the main attraction that sells the tickets? Imo he always does buddy movies where the opposite star has just as big star power or is still popping/relevant in some way
I'd say no. They had a lot of main stay black actors and actresses in think like a man. It only made sense to add the newest starGood point.
Although I’d argue he was the main draw of the Think Like A Man flicks but those are Rom Coms and Rom Coms sell themselves I suppose
