I thought it was pretty good

I didn't have an emotional attachment to the first movie and didn't watch it until years after it came out but I still liked it a lot .. Took my daughter to see part 2 and we both enjoyed it. It's alot more disappointing sequels than this movie

I think after the third Ninja Turtles movie came out is when the franchise in itself started losing steam, at least for me. After that I moved on to Batman The Animated Series, X-Men, Spider-Man, Gargoyles, etc. Surprised the first animated series lasted for so long.

Yep 1993-1996 were the years for the turtles 1997-2001 was the dead period tmnt wouldn't get a second life till the vol.4 comic and tmnt 2003 cartoon
