Ninja turtles 2 & 3

Matrix sequels had grown man bars sprinkled throughout

Although it does feel like elites got wind of the franchise after the first one, and bogarted it

I’ll never forget amazon basically giving me turtles 2 for free. Ordered it cause it was $6 then realized I wasn’t going to watch it and wanted to return it. Did the refund before it got here and amazon told me I didn’t have to send the movie back, they’d just give me my money back

I liked all of them #2 as well. even though Neo looked like cheat codes you understand in #3 what was going on. And I loved way we're shown that the Matrix is iteratively imporiving itself, even showing how the Matrix is even learning to predict how Neos will respond to him. Plus seeing the fallen Neo as well.

For me it was Pacific Rim 2. The first Pacific Rim was a straightforward monster movie with great CGI fights, campy dialogue and no weird twists. It’s far from a classic but it’s one of my favorite movies.

But holy shyt Pacific Rim 2 was asscheeks. They tried to make it more kid-friendly and the jokes/dialogue was trashcan status. I turned it off halfway through and I’ve never been more disappointed in a movie.

Not to mention but why did CGI from the early 2000s age so horribly compared to early 90s with movies like Jurassic Park or T2?

Because Spielberg and Cameron understood the place of CGI; they used it to supplement practical effects rather than replace them outright. So much of the T-1000, for instance, was prosthetics and models.

I didn't even get through Pacific Rim 2 long enough to see them fight a monster:heh:

I'm adding a horror movie to the list, Nightmare on Elm Street 2

I saw Ghostbusters as a little kid; it was my favorite movie, and practically defined my childhood.

Five years later, I saw Ghostbusters 2. That was the day my childhood died.
