The show is pretty much an over the top action packed mini movie with lots of graphic sex every episode all wrapped around the main character. 15 years ago, the main character gets caught in a robbery. He was set up by a Russian gangster that he worked for who also is the father of his girlfriend who was also in on the robbery but she got away. He was set up by the Russian gangster because he and his daughter were going to leave and disappear after that last robbery. Fast forward 15 years, he gets out of prison and tracks down his girlfriend in a small town in PA where she has changed her identity, married and had kids. The night he shows up in town, he goes to the local bar at the same time as the new sheriff (Hood) who was supposed to start his new job in Banshee the next day. The bar gets robbed, the new sheriff gets killed and instead of reporting it to the police, the main character takes the identity of the new sheriff since no one had seen him yet. As the new sheriff "Hood", he soon finds out that the town is run by a gangster who is a former Amish and has that goon working for him from my previous post. Theres also American Indians who are at war with the Amish gangster, rednecks who of course hate Blacks and other crazy shyt in Banshee and the new sheriff is suddenly in the middle of all the chaos. You get plenty of fights, sex, shoot outs, etc. every episode. Its a great show. the season 3 thread should be pinned at the top...
