Thread starter is right. Nerds have their own lane in the open and the public is about it now. 20 years ago, hell, even 10 years ago, it was all about the super thugged out dude or the comedian that got the attention.

But Kanye and Obama made it cool for young black people to be smart and that thugged out crazed was all but dead in 2009.

When I think of the Kanye and Obama I dont think of nerds. Yall are going on extreme ends of the spectrum as if you are either a thug or a nerd with nothing in between.
