I think being a nerd is only acceptable on forums. Look at how many self proclaimed nerds on this forum make daily threads about women not being into them. You still need a bit of swag and confidence in the real world and nerds usually are lacking in the department.

Hmm maybe thats a southern thing. I've never met a black dude in real life that was into anime and other nerd stuff because they usually hang around the swagless whites and asians. I've certainly never seen a nerd with a hood rat type female but if you are pulling them then more power to you.

I grew up being kinda nerdy, playing videogames and reading tons of comics since very young.

I was bullied and all that shyt when young before HS (there wasn't even such term as "bully" back them, you had to take care of your own and point blank). In high school I was more respected and cats only used to found it funny.

Thread starter is right. Nerds have their own lane in the open and the public is about it now. 20 years ago, hell, even 10 years ago, it was all about the super thugged out dude or the comedian that got the attention.
