How does someone receive backlash from this, whatever happened to just not buying it and moving on.

This has been my take. But there are people out there that have been SALIVATING at the chance to take shots at him. He did have some questionable things in the app like location tracking stuff. But just about every app on the market does. That doesn't make it right, but the people complaining about his, probably aren't complaining about the calculator app that they have installed that wants to know what time they wake up in the morning (thats hyperbole, but you understand what I'm getting at). It doesn't matter how perfect the app was, people were going to shyt on it. He's very good at what he does and he's successful, and there will always be people that hate that just because.
