U mean PED's?

Explain

We've seen this movie before. We saw primes "extended" in the late 90's-early 00's and it was all enhanced. Now we're seeing another flood of athletes putting more miles than ever on their bodies....even higher levels than the ones that were enhanced the era before. We can pretend Brady just simply "knows how to fall" and stretch. Or we can be honest.

Maybe.

Joe Louis' reign is quite impressive as he cleaned out every champion since Gene Tunney and all contenders over a 14 year period. He only had one fight between 1942 and 1946 though (because of WW2) so that definitely helped him be champ for so long. When he came back he obviously wasn't the same (should've lost the first Walcott fight) but impressively still had enough to stay on top for a bit.

If he was never forced to return because of IRS issues I think his legend would've been much bigger. Losing to Charles and Marciano doesn't hurt his legacy but if he stayed retired after knocking out Walcott in 1948 he would've had only one loss (avenged) to go with 25 title defenses over 10 years

No, there are plenty guys who played well till late. And Lebron is only 33 (a lot of seasons played) but if he is doing anything similar in 3 years I think he can have that argument as far as playing. Other guys have accomplished things at 40 too.
