As a diehard Lakers fan it pains me to say this but I really think Kobe should keep it moving and retire. You have to think about all the mileage he has on him since he started with all the post seasons + the olympic trials/olympics/exhibitions
That being said, Kobe is still better than Wade, who has definitely been declining as of late. Something about his mental game is off.
Kobe though either needs to learn to defer and realize he cant be jacking up 20+ shots a game or the Lakers are doomed for more crappy years. And I don't really think he has it in him to go like 18ppg 7rpg 7apg, and take like 10-12 shots a game.
The very best the Lakes played this year was when Kobe was out and injured (we were on a pretty nice win streak).
That being said Lakers need to trade/clean house and get rid of all the bums we currently have, who cant bring it in the playoffs (pau / bynum).
