shyt is sad. A whole generation of men looking to internet thought gurus as surrogate father figures/life coaches. I think I read somewhere that everyone ultimately susceptible to these kinds of grifts, and while we laugh, there is also a grift out there that hits our particular cognitive biases. Kevin Samuels just happens to hit that cognitive bias sweet spot for the Coli.These young nikkas need a role model...guess KS is next up

No, but It makes me distrust the messenger and makes me question the motives behind his actions.
If my father tells 14yr old me to stop sagging my pants, I know why he is a doing it. He cares about my presentation of myself and wants the best for me.
If a known racist cac tells 14yr old me to stop sagging my pants, he could give a damn about my presentation, he just hates me regardless if i sagged or wore a suit like KS. He would still hate me, and my appearance had nothing to do with it on any level whatsoever. His words are empty even though they are "right" and "make sense" in this case. Context and intent matter.
All of this matters if I'm going to seek out the advice of someone and follow them on a consistent basis. I could even point to some things that Tommy Sotomayor has said that are true, but that doesnt' mean i'm going to subscribe to his channel and tune in, because I know the nuance and i can read between the lines.
I’ve gone into a few of the threads about him but only watched maybe 2 videos. If I’m being honest I don’t give a fukk about him or none of the other nikkas that get posted on this site. That topic about him bein’ damn near 400 pages speaks volumes...
